How much of my three thousand should actually go to cryptocurrency versus keeping emergency funds safe? I don't want to be reckless but also don't want to miss growth.

Never invest money you can't afford to lose completely, especially in crypto. If that three thousand is your entire safety net, maybe only put thousand toward crypto and keep rest liquid. If you have separate emergency savings, then being more aggressive with the three thousand makes sense. Your life stability comes first always.

Made the mistake of over-committing early and got really stressed during a twenty percent dip because I needed that money. Spent sleepless nights watching charts instead of enjoying the investment. Restructured later to keep only true disposable income in crypto. Massive difference in mental health and decision quality. This covers the psychology well: https://ekripta.com/en/3k-investment/
